Viva Wyndham V Samaná is a 2015 opened all-inclusive resort with 283 rooms at the beautiful beach of Playa Cosón, located on the north coast of the Samaná peninsula. It is a very modern adults-only hotel with contemporary design, well-equipped rooms (some with Jacuzzi on the terrace) and an upscale variety of restaurants and bars. Compared to other all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic, V Samaná features one of the most beautiful settings between the rolling hills of the Samaná peninsula and the palm-lined Playa Cosón, à-la-carte dining without reservations required, a very short walking distance to the beach from all rooms and a very personal atmosphere due to the small size of the resort. Further amenities of the hotel include free WiFi in all areas, branded drinks at the bars and 24-hour room service. Due to its location on the Samaná peninsula, which is commonly known as the most attractive region of the Dominican Republic, there are lot of excursion opportunities, such as a visit to the stunning waterfall of El Limón, or a boat tour through the National Park Los Haitises, a visit to the famous beaches of Playa Rincón and Playa Frontón or whale watching in the mating season, which lasts from January to March every year.
