Airports in the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic has six international airports. All six have nonstop flights to the USA and Canada, and three of them have direct flights to the United Kingdom. The busiest airport is Punta Cana International, only a 15- 30 minute drive to most of the all-inclusive resorts on the eastern coast. Santo Domingo, the country’s capital, is home to the second busiest airport. If you arrive here, you can be in the city within 30 minutes for a stroll through the Zona Colonial, a Unesco world heritage site. Furthermore, you can visit our team from DOMINICAN EXPERT and enjoy a tropical beverage in our office while we provide you with all the information you need for your vacation in the Dominican Republic. Santo Domingo is also a great starting point for visiting the Samaná peninsula just a two-hour drive away, or you could fly into the smaller El Catey Airport in Samana. There you will not only find unspoiled nature but also pristine beaches. Puerto Plata, La Romana and Santiago are the three other airports, usually having lesser importance for our guests than Punta Cana, Santo Domingo and Samaná.
