Samaná Peninsula is located in the north east and is one of the most beautiful regions in the Dominican Republic. Known for its breathtaking, mile long and palm-lined beaches it’s a spot in the Caribbean where you can hide away from the rest of the world. Once a year the bay of Samaná is turning into the world’s largest breeding ground for humpback whales (January-March). The region however features a lot of fun and adventurous activities.
