Sara and Jasmin, a wonderful couple from Austria, had a dream of getting married at a Caribbean beach. They reached out to us and we were more than happy and excited to plan their destination wedding in the Dominican Republic!

Getting started with the perfect location

The first step of the wedding planning was to decide on the perfect location. Sara and Jasmin decided for an all-inclusive destination wedding in Punta Cana, a perfect way to combine their beach wedding and an all-inclusive Caribbean getaway with their friends and family.

We showed them many different all-inclusive hotel options in Punta Cana for their dream wedding. Detail planning of the dream wedding

Once the perfect hotel and wedding location in Punta Cana were set, the detail planning began! From beautiful, dreamy decorations to selecting the delicious wedding menu to and gathering their favorite songs for the DJ to play, our professional wedding planner was always on hand with help and advice throughout the whole destination wedding planning process to make it a smooth and fun experience for the wedding couple.

Sara and Jasmin decided for a legal (civil) wedding in the Dominican Republic which involves a lot of paperwork. Thanks to our service package for legal wedding documents, they only had to send us their legalized birth certificate and passport, and our in-house lawyer took care of the entire process before and after the wedding, and sent the couple the finalized wedding certificate back home, which they had to have registered at the civil registry office and that was it! Leaving the paperwork to us not only made the process less stressful and more economic for the couple but it also gave them the opportunity to fully focus on the fun stuff of the wedding planning and just look forward to their Caribbean getaway!

The big day arrives!

The big day had finally come! The couple´s wedding attire had been ironed and prepared, the stunning bride Sara and her bridesmaids enjoyed their Spa time and had their hair and make-up done – all organized by us. Back in the room, they got ready and took some stunning photos to remember these treasured moments.

Romantic beach ceremony

In the meantime, at the ceremony location, everything had been beautifully set up and decorated for their destination wedding – just as Sara and Jasmin had dreamed it. The groom was ready, waiting down the aisle for his wife and the guests were seated. Our professional wedding planner made sure everything was running smoothly. Let the wedding bells ring!

The legal wedding ceremony in Punta Cana, led by a civil judge and translated by a German speaking interpreter, took place in a romantic beach setting at sunset. When Sara and Jasmin pronounced their personal and emotional vows, no eye was left dry! They said “I Do”, exchanged rings, kissed – and were officially pronounced husband and wife in the Dominican Republic!

A glass of sparkling wine was ready for everyone to toast and celebrate the newlyweds!

After the ceremony, a cocktail reception with open bar, appetizers and some traditional Dominican music was ready for the guests to enjoy while the couple had a romantic photoshoot for some memories of their beautiful destination wedding in Punta Cana.

The next highlight of Sara and Jasmin´s destination wedding at Secrets Royal Beach was the private wedding reception: the wedding couple opened the reception with a romantic first dance in the sand, then the DJ started playing ambient music to underline this paradisiacal beach setting, the sound of the ways and the gently swaying palm trees while a delicious 4-course menu was served that certainly delighted the taste buds of all guests. After dinner it was time to get the party started! The DJ played the wedding couple´s favorite music and they danced the night away – but of course not without some further highlights and wedding traditions: a delicious wedding cake was enjoyed, the bouquet was tossed and back in the room the wedding couple was surprised with a beautiful, romantic turn-down service with sparkling wine to enjoy a romantic rest of their wedding night.
