Product & Sales Manager

Job Description

DOMINICAN EXPERT is a growing destination management company in Santo Domingo, specializing in individual travel, weddings, and incentive groups. We are looking to fill the following position as soon as possible: Product & Sales Manager to further develop our business and convince many more guests of the incredible diversity of the Dominican Republic.

Tasks

Creating offers for individual travelers and groups (leisure or incentive)
Support for our B2B and B2C customers
Responsibility for the entire booking process (reservation, confirmation, invoice, vouchers)
Daily work with our back-office software
Creating and revising hotel descriptions and website texts
Complete communication with our service providers (contacting them, making reservations, contracts, price negotiations, etc.)
Product management in accordance with our company guidelines
Website update
Assistant to our Destination Manager
Contributing creative and new ideas to improve our products & services

Depending on experience, these tasks may also include additional areas, such as creating marketing concepts and strategies or acquiring and developing new sales channels. Similarly, depending on prior knowledge, there is the possibility of developing new products or taking on a leading role in existing projects or departments.

Requirements

We are looking for a motivated, flexible, creative, and responsible team member who can work independently and reliably, even under pressure. Fluency in German and English is required; Spanish skills are also an advantage, as some of the tasks mentioned above require communication in three languages. Knowledge of tourism is also beneficial, as are proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress experience, and a strong passion for travel. Enjoyment of (and ideally experience with) customer service is essential to effectively communicate our tailor-made individual trips, weddings, and group programs to potential clients.
