You will be picked up at the airport and driven by our private transfer to your hotel in the Zona Colonial of Santo Domingo.
Spend the rest of the day exploring the streets of the colonial city, its restaurants, bars, and shops at your leisure. In the evening, we recommend a visit to the Plaza de España, where you can choose from several excellent restaurants and enjoy your dinner with a view of the house of Christopher Columbus's son.

Today, on a guided tour through the colonial zone, you will visit the oldest cathedral in the New World, a fortress, ruins, the residence of Christopher Columbus's son, and a cigar factory. In the afternoon, you can explore the surrounding area on your own with our tips.

Your tour begins and takes you past cocoa, coffee, banana, rice, and tobacco plantations. Enjoy the drive through the beautiful mountains, which reach a height of 900 meters above sea level. It's worth stopping along the way to visit a renowned tobacco factory and plantation. The afternoon is free for you to explore the surrounding area.

After breakfast, you'll embark on an excursion. You can choose between an exciting river rafting tour, a hike to two waterfalls, a paragliding flight to see the area from a bird's-eye view, or a visit to a coffee factory including a tasting of organic coffee. Afterwards, you'll travel to your next destination: the idyllic fishing village of Punta Rucia in the far north.

In the morning, a fishing boat will be ready to take you to a small sandbank with an area of only 200m².2 to bring white sand. However, the greatest natural spectacle takes place underwater, where the coral reefs are a magnet for a multitude of colorful fish. Afterwards, the journey continues to Cabarete, a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. En route, you can visit the historic San Felipe Fortress in Puerto Plata.

Today is yours to explore and enjoy the water sports paradise of Cabarete: from the long village beach with its many shops and cafes, to surfing tours, canyoning adventures and excursions in the surrounding area, there's something for every adventurer!

Today's itinerary includes a drive along the north coast to Cabrera. The diverse, lush landscape encompasses rivers, banana plantations, rice paddies, and an impressive coastline. Feel free to stop at pristine beaches for swimming and a typical Dominican lunch, as well as at crystal-clear lagoons for a refreshing dip.

Today your journey continues to the Samaná Peninsula, where you will leave your car and be taken by boat across the bay to a paradisiacal eco-lodge in beautiful surroundings in Los Haitises National Park.

After breakfast, you'll explore Los Haitises National Park by boat. You'll cruise past secluded islands, bays, and rock formations, visiting two caves where you can find paintings and carvings by the Taíno indigenous people. Afterward, your boat will take you to the idyllic "Bacardi Island," Cayo Levantado, where a Dominican lunch will be served. From there, you'll return to the port and continue on to Las Terrenas.

You will spend your last days of vacation in this idyllic spot. Relax and enjoy the Caribbean flair of this beautiful island, which is showcased at its finest here in Las Terrenas. For adventurers who want to see more of the area, the Samaná Peninsula offers more than enough options, which we would be happy to tell you about.
