
You will be picked up at the airport and driven by our private transfer to your hotel in the Zona Colonial of Santo Domingo.

In the evening, we recommend ending your day in one of the parks: Plaza España, Parque Duarte, or Parque Colón. These parks are popular meeting places for people of all ages, who enjoy the pleasant evening temperatures together.

Today, you'll explore the colonial zone of Santo Domingo, the oldest city in the New World, on a bicycle tour. A special treat for younger children is a visit to Parque Colón, a historic square located in the heart of the old town, where you can watch and feed pigeons.
Afterwards, we will inform you about your tour over a tropical welcome drink in our office in the Zona Colonial and answer any last questions before you start your adventure.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Chocolate Museum, where you will learn a lot about the cocoa plant and its uses, and make your own chocolate with your children.

After picking up your rental car, the journey begins towards Jarabacoa. The route takes you inland, past cocoa, rice, banana, and coffee plantations, and along a mountain road with breathtaking views over the Cibao Valley, until you reach the mountain town of Jarabacoa. Along the way, you have the opportunity to visit a beautiful waterfall, perfect for a refreshing swim for the whole family. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing by the hotel pool or exploring the lush surroundings along the river on your own.

This day is yours to explore Jarabacoa at your leisure. Depending on your preferences and the age of your children, you can spend the day at the beautiful hotel complex right on the banks of the Jimenoa River, or take a short hike on your own, visit nearby waterfalls, or book an exciting activity such as river rafting or paragliding.

After breakfast, the journey continues towards El Cupey, where you will spend the next few days at the family-friendly Eco-Lodge El Gallo. Along the way, you can stop at a restaurant with spectacular views or book a cocoa jungle tour upon request. After your arrival, you can spend the rest of the day relaxing, taking a refreshing dip in one of the lodge's natural pools, or exploring the spacious gardens.

At the family-friendly Eco-Lodge El Gallo, you have the opportunity to enjoy numerous activities on or near the lodge. Depending on the children's ages and interests, guided tours, egg hunts, fruit and vegetable picking in the lodge's own garden, cooking or painting classes, herb gathering, soap making, cave visits, or swimming excursions are all on offer. The friendly lodge owners are happy to tailor activities to your children's ages and recommend alternative activities for your family. You can also explore the area around Puerto Plata independently by rental car and, for example, take a cable car ride up the local mountain, experience an exciting canyoning tour, or visit the Monkey Jungle, a monkey sanctuary.

Today the journey continues towards Cabarete. You will arrive at your hotel this afternoon, which is located directly on the beach in Cabarete, a popular spot for water sports enthusiasts. You can spend the afternoon as you please on the beach, by the hotel pool, or exploring the town of Cabarete with its shops, bars, and restaurants.

This day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Spend it relaxing on Cabarete beach or by the hotel pool. Alternatively, you can explore the area on your own.

Today you'll embark on an organic farm tour, gaining insight into the local culture of rural Dominican Republic. The farm cultivates a variety of fruits, vegetables, and superfoods, which you can sample fresh from the trees during the tour. Afterward, you'll head to the Yasica River for a leisurely river tubing tour, floating downstream in inner tubes. For the more adventurous, there's the option to climb a jungle cliff and jump from an overhanging tree into the crystal-clear water. Finally, a delicious lunch of fresh, organic produce awaits you before returning to your hotel.

Your journey today takes you to the Samaná Peninsula. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to visit the beautiful freshwater lagoon Dudu, perfect for a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters. For the more adventurous, there's an eight-meter-high zip line. Afterwards, you'll continue along the Boulevard del Atlantico, which offers spectacular views of the peninsula's tropical coastline. Upon arrival in the charming beach town of Las Terrenas, you can end the day relaxing with a refreshing tropical cocktail by the pool or on the beach.

In this idyllic spot, with its countless beach bars and restaurants scattered along the various beaches, you'll spend your last days of vacation. Relax and soak up the Caribbean atmosphere of this beautiful island, which is showcased at its finest here in Las Terrenas. For adventurers who want to explore more of the surrounding area, the Samaná Peninsula offers more than enough options, which we'd be happy to show you.

Return to Santo Domingo via a well-maintained highway. En route, you can stop at the hidden Salto Socoa waterfall for a swim and to mingle with the locals. Depending on your onward travel plans, you can return your rental car at the airport or, if you've extended your stay, upon request.
