You will be picked up at the airport and driven by our private transfer to your luxury beach hotel in Punta Cana.

You'll spend the first few days of your trip on the pristine white sand beach of your elegant and tranquil hotel in Punta Cana – aptly named Playa Blanca ("white beach"). A stroll along this idyllic Caribbean beach, a swim in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, or a massage at the Six Senses Spa are perfect for a relaxing day under the palm trees. Four green fees at the renowned Corales and La Cana golf courses are included in your stay.

Today you will visit a cigar factory in La Romana, one of the world's largest producers of handmade cigars, offering visitors a fascinating glimpse into the production process of premium Dominican cigars. You will learn about the entire tobacco processing procedure and even have the opportunity to roll your own cigar. Your next stop is the Barceló Rum Factory, one of the country's leading rum producers. Here you can go behind the scenes of rum making. The museum explores the history of rum production in the Dominican Republic and provides insight into the cultural significance of this spirit. Finally, you will enjoy a tasting of Barceló's various rums in the elegant bar. Afterward, you will travel to the historic center of Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic. In the evening, you will have ample time to explore the romantic Zona Colonial with its narrow streets and countless bars and restaurants.

After breakfast, you'll embark on a private, German-guided tour of the Zona Colonial, where you'll get to know the first European city in the Americas. Among other sights, you'll visit the palace of Columbus's eldest son and the oldest cathedral in the New World. You'll also visit a chocolate museum, where you'll learn about the cacao plant and its uses, and even have the opportunity to make your own chocolate bar. In the afternoon, you'll tour an interactive sugar cane museum, including a guided tour of the modern exhibits with live actors who recount the history of rum in the Dominican Republic. After the "From Sugar Cane to Rum" tour, you'll have the chance to sample various rums.

The journey continues inland, past cocoa, rice, banana, and coffee plantations, and soon you'll see towering mountains. Your route takes you through Santiago, the country's second-largest city. Here, you'll visit one of the best restaurants in the greater Santiago area, offering fantastic views of the city. Afterward, the journey continues north, where you'll visit a tobacco plantation and learn about the cultivation and processing of tobacco, culminating in the production of fine cigars. In the evening, you'll arrive at your hotel in Puerto Plata.

Today, enjoy a round of golf at the 18-hole Playa Dorada golf course in Puerto Plata. This course, ranked among the world's 100 best by the renowned Golf Digest magazine, was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. Nestled amidst the lush tropical vegetation of the Playa Dorada Resort. This first-class, par-72 18-hole championship course stretches over approximately 7,000 yards across uneven but highly varied terrain, where water and bunkers play a crucial role. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Today you can relax at the beautiful Hotel Casa Colonial, located directly on the beach and offering an infinity pool, four Jacuzzis, a fitness center, and an orchid garden. If you'd like to experience more, you can take the cable car up Pico Isabel de Torres, from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the north coast.
