In the morning, you will be picked up and taken to the unique natural landscape of Los Haitises National Park. Your accommodation is a beautiful eco-lodge, located in the heart of Los Haitises National Park, far from any civilization. Once there, you can explore the surroundings with a walk through the jungle or enjoy a relaxing evening in the natural pools surrounding the lodge.

At 5:30 a.m., before sunrise, you'll embark on a birdwatching tour for the "El Gavilán de la Hispaniola," a native and endangered bird species endemic to the national park. During the tour, while searching for El Gavilán and other bird species that call Los Haitises National Park home, you'll witness the sun rising over the trees. Later in the day, you'll enjoy a 3-4 hour hike through the national park, exploring the natural surroundings and taking exciting photographic opportunities. Alternatively, you can opt for a kayaking tour or one of the other activities offered (upon request).

After breakfast, collect your luggage and embark on a private boat trip through the mangroves to the vast lagoon of San Lorenzo Bay. This lagoon is simply breathtaking and unique in its natural splendor. Glide slowly through the shallow waters and observe how the rocky islands have been formed over centuries, providing a haven for countless bird species. From here, the boat will take you through Samaná Bay to Cayo Levantado, where you can enjoy a Dominican lunch and have time to relax on the pristine beach of Cayo Levantado, also known as "Bacardi Island." In the afternoon, the captain will then take you directly to the Bannister Hotel's port.

Today you'll embark on a boat trip where you'll have the opportunity to observe the fascinating humpback whales, the giants of the sea, in Samaná Bay (possible from January to March). Alternatively, you can choose from a guided jungle hike to a hidden waterfall, a seven-beach hike, or an exhilarating zip-line tour. In the afternoon, your private chauffeur will pick you up and take you to the picturesque colonial zone of Santo Domingo.
