After breakfast, a private transfer will take you to Santa Bárbara de Samaná, from where you'll embark on a boat trip through Los Haitises National Park. Along the way, passing secluded islands, coves, and rock formations, you'll visit two caves where you can see cave paintings and stone carvings by the Taíno, the indigenous people of the Dominican Republic. Upon arrival at a small, rustic eco-lodge within the national park, you can enjoy a Dominican lunch surrounded by small waterfalls. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the area.
