You will spend the first few days at the luxurious Casa de Campo Resort in La Romana. Day 8: Off to Santo Domingo

Today the journey continues to Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic. Your hotel is located right in the heart of the Zona Colonial, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its numerous historical buildings. Step back in time and discover the vibrant culture, romantic architecture, and impressive monuments. The rest of the afternoon/evening is yours to enjoy as you wish – the Colonial Zone, with its countless bars, restaurants, and cafés, offers plenty of options.

Day 9: Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo & Las Terrenas

Today, a guided city tour will take you to the oldest cathedral in the New World, a fortress, ruins, the residence of Columbus's son, and a cigar factory. In the afternoon, your driver will take you to the tropical Samaná Peninsula. Your destination for the day is the luxurious Sublime Samaná, located directly on Playa Coson in Las Terrenas. Here, you can end the day with a refreshing cocktail at the beach bar.

Day 13: Los Haitises National Park and onward journey to Punta Cana

After breakfast, a private transfer will take you to Santa Bárbara de Samaná, from where you'll embark on a boat trip through Los Haitises National Park. Passing secluded islands, coves, and rock formations, you'll visit two caves where you can see cave paintings and stone carvings by the Taíno, the indigenous people of the Dominican Republic. Upon arrival at a small, rustic eco-lodge within the national park, you can enjoy a Dominican lunch surrounded by small waterfalls and take a short break. If you wish, you can take a refreshing dip in the pools! In the afternoon, a private transfer will take you to Punta Cana, the final destination of your trip.
