Sara and Jasmin, a wonderful couple from Austria, dreamed of saying "I do" on a Caribbean beach.
They contacted us – and we were more than thrilled to plan their destination wedding in the Dominican Republic!
The beginning: Finding the perfect location
The first step in wedding planning was choosing the perfect location.

Detailed planning of the dream wedding
Once the perfect hotel and wedding location in Punta Cana had been chosen, the detailed planning of the wedding began!
From the romantic decorations and the selection of the delicious wedding menu to the music selection for the DJ – our professional wedding planner was there for Sara and Jasmin throughout the entire planning process, offering advice and support to ensure everything ran smoothly and stress-free, making the preparations a pleasant and joyful experience.
Sara and Jasmin opted for a legally recognized (civil) wedding in the Dominican Republic – which involves quite a bit of paperwork.
Thanks to our service package for legal wedding documents, the couple only had to send us their legalized birth certificate and passport.
Our in-house lawyer handled the entire process – before and after the wedding – and then sent the official marriage certificate directly back to Austria. There, they simply had to register it with the registry office – and that was it!
By leaving the bureaucratic part to us, Sara and Jasmin were able to save time, money and nerves – and concentrate entirely on the beautiful aspects of wedding planning: anticipation, dreams and the adventure of their Caribbean dream wedding!

The day had finally arrived – the wedding day! 💍✨
The couple's wedding attire was carefully ironed and prepared, and the radiant bride Sara enjoyed a relaxing spa break with her bridesmaids, during which her hair and make-up – organized by us, of course – were professionally styled.
Back in the room, they calmly prepared for the big moment and had beautiful photos taken to capture these precious memories forever.
A day full of anticipation, emotions and magic unfolded – the beginning of an unforgettable chapter in Sara and Jasmin's love story.
Romantic beach ceremony
While Sara and Jasmin prepared for their big moment, everything at the ceremony location was lovingly set up and decorated – exactly as the couple had imagined their dream wedding on the beach.
The groom waited excitedly at the altar, the guests took their seats, and our professional wedding planner ensured that everything ran perfectly and smoothly. 💐
The wedding bells could ring!
The civil wedding ceremony in Punta Cana, performed by a local civil judge and accompanied by a German-speaking translator, took place in a romantic beach setting at sunset – an atmosphere that could hardly be more magical.
When Sara and Jasmin recited their personal, emotional wedding vows, there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
Then came the big moment: They said "Yes, I do," exchanged rings, kissed – and were officially declared husband and wife in the Dominican Republic! 💞
A glass of sparkling wine was already waiting for all the guests to toast the newlyweds and celebrate this special moment full of love, joy, and happiness. 🥂
After the ceremony, a cocktail reception with open bar, appetizers and some traditional Dominican music was ready for the guests to enjoy while the couple had a romantic photoshoot for some memories of their beautiful destination wedding in Punta Cana.
The next highlight of Sara and Jasmin's destination wedding at Secrets Royal Beach was the private wedding reception: the wedding couple opened the reception with a romantic first dance in the sand, then the DJ started playing ambient music to underline this paradisiacal beach setting, the sound of the paths and the gently swaying palm trees while a delicious 4-course menu was served that certainly delighted the taste buds of all guests. After dinner it was time to get the party started! The DJ played the wedding couple's favorite music and they danced the night away – but of course not without some further highlights and wedding traditions: a delicious wedding cake was enjoyed, the bouquet was tossed and back in the room the wedding couple was surprised with a beautiful, romantic turn-down service with sparkling wine to enjoy a romantic rest of their wedding night.
