Our cozy mountain cabins with stunning panorama views is a unique eco-lodge with 7 rustic but cozy cabins, located on over 7.000 ft above sea level within Valle Nuevo National Park, surrounded by pine forest and alpine grass. Since temperatures can nearly reach the freezing point, all of the bungalows are equipped with warming blankets and a fireplace that creates a very comfortable atmosphere. This lodge is the perfect spot for people looking for tranquility, relaxing in a beautiful nature setting and stargazing in a rocking chair at night. There is also a terrace and a barbecue. With the next town being about 15 km away, quietness is guaranteed. Adventure-seeking travelers will enjoy this place just as much, thanks to the numerous sports activities that can be done around the lodge (with prior reservation), including mountain biking, paragliding, horseback riding or bathing in mountain streams. The original details of the property, such as stucco walls and pine beam, have been preserved and expose the unique atmosphere of this eco-lodge.

Please note: Even though the mountain cabins are located in the Caribbean, warm clothes are absolutely recommended due to the cold temperatures at night. We also recommend using an SUV, because some roads are unpaved.

Location:
The cozy mountain cabins with stunning panorama views is located on 7.500 ft in Valle Nuevo National Park, in the mountainous center of the Dominican Republic. It is about 15 km away from the town of Constanza and an approx. 3.5 h drive to the capital of Santo Domingo and its airport. There are no supermarkets or restaurants around, all foods and drinks have to be taken to the lodge!

All seven cabins offer a fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms with hot water and a terrace with an outdoor grill.
1 Bedroom “Cigüita Constancera”: 1 Bedroom with a double bed, 1 bathroom. Maximum occupancy: 2 persons
2 Bedroom “Golondrina Verde”: 2 bedrooms, each one with a double bed, 1 bathroom. Maximum occupancy: 4 persons
2 Bedroom “Cotorra”: 2 bedrooms, among them one with a double bed, one with one twin bed and a bunk bed, 1 bathroom. Maximum occupancy: 5 persons
2 Bedroom “Chi-Cui”: 2 bedrooms, each one with a double bed, 1 mezzanine with two double beds and one twin bed, 2 bathrooms. Maximum occupancy: 9 persons
3 Bedroom “Colibri”: 3 bedrooms, among them 2 with one double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, 2 bathrooms. Maximum occupancy: 6 persons
3 Bedroom “Pico Cruzado”: 3 bedrooms, among them 2 with one double bed and 1 bedroom with one double bed and one single bed, 2 bathrooms. Maximum occupancy: 7 persons
2 Bedroom “Jilguero”: 2 bedrooms, each with one double bed, 1 mezzanine with two double beds, living room, 3 bathrooms. Maximum occupancy: 8 persons
